Iran film ‘Under the Smoky Roof’ screens with cast, crew on board

Public screening for Iran film ‘Under the Smoky Roof’ by Pouran Derakhshandeh is held in Iranian capital city of Tehran with some cast and crew members in attendance.

The event recently took place at Kourosh Cineplex.

Derakhshandeh’s ‘Under the Smoky Roof’, starring Farhad Aslani, Merila Zarei and Behnoush Tabatabaee, attended the Fajr Film Festival in early February.

‘Under the Smoky Roof’ is based on the social and emotional dilemma of divorce in Iranian culture.

Iran female director Derakhshandeh is one of the most renowned Iranian filmmakers focusing on familial and social issues in Iran.
